How To Build Your Own CCNA Lab

If you want to have REAL as in REAL hands-on experience with Cisco devices – the best way is to have your own. How to build your Own CCNA Lab?

For those who want to pursue their CCNA Certification. I know that one of the reasons why you want to enroll in Bootcamp trainings is the hands-on experience with real Cisco Routers and Switches.

But you need to shell out 25,000php for that experience!! You would only be able to touch and configure those routers while you’re in the training center.

In order to be a full-fledged CCNA, you need to be very good in configuring, reading and interpreting the outputs, and troubleshooting : all of which besides configuring won’t be covered in-depth during your bootcamp training.

To be very proficient and familiar, you need to have your own!

Do you know that you can build your own lab for just 18,000php??

You can configure your heart out at home. You can practice with your own Cisco home network. Connect you home internet to your Cisco Router and connect all computers you have at home to your Cisco Switch — you can do all that with the 25,000php budget that you’re saving for a CCNA bootcamp – MAY SUKLI KA PA!!

But as a beginner, I know that you don’t know how to setup your own.

In this video, I will help you to determine what devices to buy for you to build your own CCNA lab at home.

I will also talk about how much you will need to build one and where to buy.

This CCNA lab will be the same setup for one of the CCNA Training centers in Manila offering a 2 router, 2 switch, 2 workstation setup. All other bootcamp centers offers less than this 2 router, 2 switch setup – so for a real bootcamp experience, let’s build a 2 router,2switch lab.

This home lab would be help you in preparing for your CCNA 200-125 exam. Although this would help familiarize you in real device hands-on, this setup is still not enough.

An efficient CCNA study would still need you to use simulators for you to be able to configure a 5 router, 3 switch lab scenario — but that would be on another video 😉
